V Sunday of Lent—Year B (March 22, 2015)

A.    Introduction
a)     To the Holy Mass
Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good morning!
Welcome to Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for the Holy Mass celebration on the Fifth Sunday of Lent, Year B.
The Gospel Reading tells us how Christ, out of His obedience to God and love for sinners, was eager to accomplish the salvation plan, even though He would undergo suffering and death on the cross.
We pray to the Lord for gift of loving obedience to God’s Holy Will so as for us to become instruments of Divine merciful love for all people.
Kindly all stand for the entrance hymn.

b)    To the Readings
-         First Reading Jr 31:31-34
The all-loving and merciful God just wants to forgive and save His people no matter how unfaithful they may be.  God covenant with man will perfectly be kept through the sacrifice of Christ.

-         Second Reading Heb 5:7-9
Once embracing the human nature, Christ lived up to details to the struggles for the dignity of all men and women as God’s loving and faithful children.
