First Reading (Exodus 34:4b-6, 8-9)
A reading from the Book of Exodus
Early in the morning Moses went up Mount Sinai
as the LORD had commanded him,
taking along the two stone tablets.
Having come down in a cloud, the LORD stood with Moses there
and proclaimed his name, "LORD."
Thus the LORD passed before him and cried out,
"The LORD, the LORD, a merciful and gracious God,
slow to anger and rich in kindness and fidelity."
Moses at once bowed down to the ground in worship.
Then he said, "If I find favor with you, O Lord,
do come along in our company.
This is indeed a stiff-necked people; yet pardon our wickedness and sins,
and receive us as your own."
The word of the Lord.

4b Khi ấy, ông Mô-sê thức dậy và lên núi Xi-nai theo lệnh của Đức Chúa, tay mang hai bia đá.
5 Đức Chúa ngự xuống trong đám mây và đứng đó với ông. Người xưng danh Người là Đức Chúa. 6 Đức Chúa đi qua trước mặt ông và xướng : “Đức Chúa ! Đức Chúa ! Thiên Chúa nhân hậu và từ bi, hay nén giận, giàu nhân nghĩa và thành tín.” 8 Ông Mô-sê vội vàng phục xuống đất thờ lạy 9 và thưa : “Lạy Chúa, nếu quả thật con được nghĩa với Chúa, thì xin Chúa cùng đi với chúng con. Dân này là một dân cứng đầu cứng cổ, nhưng xin Ngài tha thứ những lỗi lầm và tội lỗi của chúng con, và nhận chúng con làm cơ nghiệp của Ngài.”
Đó là Lời Chúa.

A reading from the second Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians
Brothers and sisters, rejoice.
Mend your ways, encourage one another,
agree with one another, live in peace,
and the God of love and peace will be with you.
Greet one another with a holy kiss.
All the holy ones greet you.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ
and the love of God
and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.

13 Cầu chúc toàn thể anh em được đầy tràn ân sủng của Chúa Giê-su Ki-tô, đầy tình thương của Thiên Chúa, và ơn hiệp thông của Thánh Thần. A-men.
Đó là Lời Chúa.

Gospel (John 3:16-18)
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Saint John
God so loved the world that he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him might not perish
but might have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world might be saved through him.
Whoever believes in him will not be condemned,
but whoever does not believe has already been condemned,
because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

Thiên Chúa sai Con của Người đến thế gian, để thế gian, nhờ Con của Người, mà được cứu độ.

16 “Thiên Chúa yêu thế gian đến nỗi đã ban Con Một, để ai tin vào Con của Người thì khỏi phải chết, nhưng được sống muôn đời. 17 Quả vậy, Thiên Chúa sai Con của Người đến thế gian, không phải để lên án thế gian, nhưng là để thế gian, nhờ Con của Người, mà được cứu độ. 18 Ai tin vào Con của Người, thì không bị lên án ; nhưng kẻ không tin, thì bị lên án rồi, vì đã không tin vào danh của Con Một Thiên Chúa.”
Đó là Lời Chúa.

A That the Church seek an ever deeper communion
with all who profess faith in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
we pray to the Lord:
B That the world leaders seek concord and not condemnation
in solving the problems that affect us all,
we pray to the Lord:
C That neighbors and friends live in peace
for the good of their communities,
we pray to the Lord:
D That all catechists and teachers of the faith be enriched by the Holy Spirit
for the work they continue to do for the Church,

E That the members of this community continue to seek
new ways of encouraging one another as they live out their faith in the Trinity,
