for preachers, presbyters, pastors, and parents,
let us pray to the Lord:
B For firefighters, postal workers, garbage collectors,
for all who work to keep this complex world going,
let us pray to the Lord:
C For all who have lost loved ones in the cause of freedom,
that they be comforted by memories of noble service,
let us pray to the Lord:
D For the faithful of all nations,
for those who share Christ’s good news in varied languages,
let us pray to the Lord:
E For the newly baptized and confirmed,
for all members of this assembly,
