  -Entrance Hymn: ES # 73 “Jesus To Jordan's Waters Came”

-Responsorial Psalm (Psalm 29:1-2, 3-4, 3, 9-10) - EM pages 83-84

R. (11b)  The Lord will bless his people with peace.
Ðáp: Chúa sẽ chúc phúc cho dân Người trong cảnh thái bình (c. 11b).

Give to the LORD, you sons of God,
    give to the LORD glory and praise,
Give to the LORD the glory due his name;
    adore the LORD in holy attire.
R. The Lord will bless his people with peace.
Xướng: Các con cái Thiên Chúa hãy dâng kính Chúa, hãy dâng kính Chúa vinh quang xứng với danh Người; hãy mang lễ phục thánh để thờ lạy Chúa.

The voice of the LORD is over the waters,
    the LORD, over vast waters.
The voice of the LORD is mighty;
    the voice of the LORD is majestic.
R. The Lord will bless his people with peace.
Xướng: Tiếng Chúa vang dội trên mặt nước, Chúa ngự trên muôn ngàn sóng nước. Tiếng Chúa phán ra trong uy quyền, tiếng Chúa phán ra trong oai vệ.

The God of glory thunders,
    and in his temple all say, “Glory!”
The LORD is enthroned above the flood;
    the LORD is enthroned as king forever.
R. The Lord will bless his people with peace.

Alleluia (Cf. Mark 9:7)

R. Alleluia, alleluia.
The heavens were opened and the voice of the Father thundered:
This is my beloved Son, listen to him.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.

Alleluia: (x. Mc 9:7)

Alleluia, alleluia! – Các tầng trời mở ra, tiếng Chúa Cha tuyên phán: “Này là Con Ta yêu dấu, hãy nghe lời Người”. – Alleluia.

Prayer of the Faithful

Priest Celebrant

Since by Baptism we are adopted members of God’s family,
let us present our needs before the Holy and Undivided Trinity.

Deacon or Lector

A For those already baptized into Christ’s household,
for those to be baptized this year,
and for those who nurture God’s family,
let us pray to the Lord:

B For rulers and legislators who serve God’s reign,
upholding peace, justice, and truth for all,
let us pray to the Lord:

C For catechumens and for all those who have not been baptized,
for those seeking to follow the path of righteousness,
let us pray to the Lord:

D For the faithful dead, marked with the saving Cross of Christ,
and for all the dead known only to God,
let us pray to the Lord:

E For all who form this eucharistic community,
and for all who are visiting or seeking welcome,
let us pray to the Lord:

Priest Celebrant

All powerful and eternal God, through Baptism you call us to holiness.
Help us always to discern your will.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
