We are invited by the Lord to plead for our needs,
and to pray for all those around us.
Inspired by this call, we present our prayers to God.

A For the Church in this year of Jubilee,
for efforts to preserve the holy places in Jerusalem and beyond,
for those who dedicate their lives to this goal,
let us pray to the Lord:
B For military leaders and heads of state,
and for those who advise them in their duties,
let us pray to the Lord:
C For refugees and foreigners dwelling in our land,
for those whose homelands are torn by civil war or religious persecution,
let us pray to the Lord:
D For those in this community who farm or garden,
