The just one shall flourish like the palm tree,

like a cedar of Lebanon shall he grow.

They that are planted in the house of the LORD

shall flourish in the courts of our God.

Xướng: Người công chính vươn lên tựa cây dừa tươi tốt, lớn mạnh như hương bá Li-băng được trồng nơi nhà Chúa, mơn mởn giữa khuôn viên đền thánh Chúa Ta.

They shall bear fruit even in old age;

vigorous and sturdy shall they be,

Declaring how just is the LORD,

my rock, in whom there is no wrong.

R. Lord, it is good to give thanks to you.

Xướng: Già cỗi rồi, vẫn sinh hoa kết quả, tràn đầy nhựa sống, cành lá xanh rờn, để loan truyền rằng: Chúa thực là ngay thẳng, là núi đá cho tôi ẩn náu, nơi Người chẳng có chút bất công.

Let us call upon God, our hope and our strength, 

and rejoice in the faith that draws us together. 

Chúng ta hãy kêu cầu lên Chúa, nguồn hy vọng và sức mạnh của chúng ta, và hãy mừng vui trong đức tin quy tụ chúng ta với nhau.

A. For our Holy Father,
that his prayers for Christian unity and renewal be quickly fulfilled.

Let us pray to the Lord: 

Cầu cho Đức Thánh Cha, xin cho lời cầu nguyện hiệp nhất và canh tân Ki-tô hữu của Ngài mau chóng được thực hiện. 

Chúng ta cầu xin Chúa. 

B. For our president, governor, mayor, and members of congress,
that the Holy Spirit inspire and strengthen them in their service.

Let us pray to the Lord: 

Cầu cho các vị lãnh đạo, xin Chúa Thánh Thần thúc đẩy và thêm sức cho họ trong sứ mệnh phục vụ. 

Chúng ta cầu xin Chúa. 

C. For students and teachers finishing the school year,
that prayer, Eucharist and charity
remain on their schedule throughout the summer.

Let us pray to the Lord: 

Cầu cho các em học sinh và giáo viên hoàn thành năm học, xin cho họ luôn sống trong lời cầu nguyện, Bí Tích Thánh Thể và Đức ái suốt mùa hè này. 

Chúng ta cầu xin Chúa. 

D. For stability in both the family and society,
that fathers cherish their wives, protect their children,
and act as a source of strength in their neighborhoods and communities.

Let us pray to the Lord: 

Cầu cho sự ổn định trong gia đình và xã hội, xin cho người cha yêu thương vợ và bảo vệ con cái của họ, và là nguồn sức mạnh cho xóm giềng và cộng đồng. 

Chúng ta cầu xin Chúa. 

E. For this body of believers, 

that we always aspire to please God and do his will. 

Let us pray to the Lord: 

Cầu cho cộng đoàn tín hữu này, xin cho chúng ta luôn khao khát làm đẹp lòng Chúa và thực thi ý của Chúa. 

Chúng ta cầu xin Chúa.
