Answer:
1/ Jesus’
incarnation: Jesus was made man in the womb of the Blessed Virgin Mother by
the power of the Holy Spirit. Matthew
Chapter 1, verse 20, reads “It is through the Holy
Spirit that this child has
been conceived in her.”
2/ Jesus’
forty days and forty nights of fasting in the desert: Matthew Chapter 4,
verses from 1 to 2 read: “Then Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit into the desert
to be tempted by the devil. He fasted
for forty days and forty nights.”
3/ Jesus
anointed and sent as God’s Messenger by the Holy Spirit: Luke Chapter 4,
verse 18 reads: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me
to bring glad tidings to the poor. He
has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind,
to let the oppressed go free, and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord.”
4/ Jesus’
prayer to God the Father inspired by the Holy Spirit: Luke Chapter 10,
verse 21 reads: “At that very moment He rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said,
‘I give you praise, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden
these things from the wise and the learned, you have revealed them to the
childlike. Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will.’”
5/ Jesus’
rising from the dead by the Holy Spirit: the First Letter of Saint Peter
Chapter 3, verse 18 reads: “Christ suffered for sins once, the righteous for
the sake of the unrighteous, that He might lead you to God. Put to death in the flesh, He was brought to
life in the Spirit.”
