To follow Jesus requires an act of faith.
We now place our needs, hopes and dreams in his hands,
believing that the Lord will grant us what we need.
Deacon or Lector
A That all those who have given up everything to follow Jesus
find joy in the path they have chosen,
let us pray to the Lord:
B That all who have suffered from terrorist attacks
experience new hope and a future of justice and peace,
let us pray to the Lord:
C That those who are retired find new ways to live out the faith
that has sustained them throughout their working life,
let us pray to the Lord:
D That young people experience the power of the Holy Spirit
as they discern the path for their lives,
let us pray to the Lord:
E That this community of the Eucharist
reach out to those far from the Church and receive them with joy,
let us pray to the Lord:
