a) To the Holy Mass
Dear
Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good
morning!
Welcome
to Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for the celebration of the Sunday Holy Mass. We celebrate today the VIII Sunday in the
Ordinary Time, Year A.
The
message of the Lord God this Sunday tells us to trust in His love and care for
us, His children. God loves and cares for His creation. But He loves
and cares for us more than anything else.
Confident
in divine goodness, we should focus more on working for God’s kingdom and let
Him do the rest for us.
Please
all stand for the entrance hymn.
b) To the Readings
- First Reading Is 49:14-15
The
Prophet Isaiah teaches us that God loves us more than parents love their
children. Even though a mother could have abandoned her child, God would never
forsake us.
- Second Reading 1 Cor 4:1-5
For
Saint Paul Christian believers should consider as the first priority living up
to the Commandment of love established by Christ Our Lord, and leave making
judgment to God alone.
