Thirty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time—C (November 13, 2016)

A.     Introduction

a)      To the Holy Mass

Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Good morning!
Welcome to Saint Dominic’s Parish Church for the Sunday Holy Mass celebration.  As the end of the liturgical year draws near, the message of God’s Word urges us to be ready for the events which will happen.  Christians confident in the Lord’s teaching have no reason to be worried about—much less afraid of—difficulties, suffering, persecution, and bloody conflict, even death, but they should instead stand erect and raise their heads for those happenings are signs of the coming of their salvation.
Please all stand for the entrance hymn.

b)     To the Readings

-          First Reading:

The Day of the Lord will be at the same time the end of all forms of evil and the beginning of the reign of justice.

-          Second Reading:

Saint Paul reminds Christians of their obligation to always conduct a way of life worthy of their conviction as followers of the Lord Jesus Christ Who lived not for Himself but for God and for others.
