With
profound gratitude to the Lord God Who loves all peoples and wants them to be
saved by their faith in Jesus Christ His Son, we celebrate this Sunday morning
on March 5, 2017, the Rite of Reception for the 4 candidates for the three
Sacraments of Christian Initiation, namely Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.
After the Rite of Reception they are welcomed into the catechumenate—the stage
of being taught both Christian principles and Way of Life—and called
catechumensm—“dự tòng” in Vietnamese—.
The 4 catechumens
are: 1/ Ms. Teresa Nguyễn Thị Hồng Hà, Vietnamese; 2/ Mr. Dominic Robert Young,
British; 3/ Mr. Joseph Roderick Fulton Haire, British; and, 4/ Mr. Joseph
Kelvin Lim Ang Luck, Singaporean.
These
catechumens will receive on Easter Sunday this year, April 16, 2017, the three
Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.
We pray to
the Lord for them with heartfelt wishes that they are always kept in God’s
loving guidance and protection.
