weaken the Church’s witness to the message of Jesus,

B That neither old hatreds nor new resentments
prevent nations from seeking peace that lasts,

C That those struggling with addiction of any kind
find strength and healing in the sacraments,

D That those who care for the very old and the very ill
be blessed with cheerful hearts and gentle hands,
